You’ve Arrived! Quranmeet

In March of 2022, The Ifta Centre of the Abu Dhabi General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (Awqaf) released a fatwa officially allowing the reading and sharing of the Quran on smartphones.

This new fatwa allows Muslims to motivate each other by encouraging us to memorize and learn the Quran with one another via smartphone Apps. It also provides us with the opportunity to explore the Quran, learn and develop deeper connections with the Muslims Community.

People with Masks

Now that there is a new normal, following the Pandemic it has been difficult for students to attend religious classes in person due to the various restrictions on gathering size. Other than covid cases, some families are not able to afford the fees for their children to attend classes. But whether you can or can’t afford it, this App offers a cheaper and hassle-free alternative to in-person classes.

Online Class

Due to the over-reliance on online classes, it has been a struggle for Teachers to deliver engaging and fruitful lessons to students as lessons are delivered through mass zoom

calls. QuranMeet offers the opportunity for students to sit in one on one sessions with teachers and also in small study groups. This ensures that the quality of the lesson will be maintained at a high level.

How are we going to solve the problems?

Since students will learn using this App, it will be much easier for them because it is compact where you can just log in and straight away attend the classes. For teachers, it will be beneficial for them to focus on interaction with the students and enjoy the flexibility and convenience of the platform. Either way, this App will be a good platform to keep in touch and connect.
